Fools of Fame, 2023

The feature film based on Eduard Bornhöhe's story published in 1892 takes the viewer to the end of the century before last, when Estonia was still part of the tsarist state. Pride in one's nation was emerging and the desire to give something eternal to one's people at any cost - be it a miracle machine flying in the air or valuable literature written in the language of the country. Unfortunately, it was not that easy at all, and sometimes there was a lack of talent, and other times the mental preparation, so that a start-up of that time, Skype or ESTcube, could be born - something that would nail itself to the history of Estonia.
